How to Play Bagua
Jump colored pieces of Lake, Fire, Thunder, Air, Water, Mountain, and Heaven over each other until only black Earth pieces remain!
Sundering
When a piece passes over another, it takes its own essence along.
- All single-bar pieces can pass over each other.
- Single-bar pieces can only pass over double-bar pieces if their bar is present. Red, for instance, cannot pass over green, because green contains no red.
- Double-bar pieces can only pass over themselves or pieces of Heaven.
- Pieces of Heaven can only pass over themselves.
Joining
When a piece completes a pass, it joins with the piece it lands on.
- Any piece can land on itself or Earth.
- Any piece not landing on itself must have room for all its bars. Blue, for instance, cannot land on green, because blue's bar is already there.
Approaching Earth
- As you create more and more Earth pieces, you'll get closer.
- Land by getting all the way down to one single-bar piece.
- Try to reach home using the smallest number of moves.
- To take fewer moves, pass and combine multi-bar pieces. Jumping Heaven over Heaven and landing on Heaven removes six bars with one move!
